7 DAYS OF THE LORD
Paul says: these DAYS are shadows of things to come... but the substance is CHRIST / the Messiah;
without CHRIST / without the Messiah... these 7 DAYS have NO meaning. So why is the CHURCH silent about these 7 DAYS? 3 are still... shadows of things to come; waiting to be fulfilled by CHRIST, the Messiah.

It isn't silent about stale roman holidays, leftovers from Babylon.

Paul declares what the Old Testament prophets alluded to when they said... the days come, 3 Days remain on the Lord's Calendar... when Messiah comes in great power and glory... to fulfill the 5th DAY of Trumpets, the 6th DAY of Afflicting souls, and the 7th DAY of Tabernacles... those 3 DAYS are EQUAL... to when Messiah came in humility as the Suffering Servant and fulfilled the first 4 DAYS: PASSOVER, UNLEAVENED BREAD, FIRST FRUITS, and PENTECOST.
If you or your organization is prone to ignore these 7 DAYS belonging to the LORD, shadows of things to come; to be fulfilled in CHRIST / the Messiah... we will not be in a hurry to follow you.

Leviticus 23

3400 years ago The LORD spoke to Moses, the great LAW giver...

and then, Moses told us all about these 7 Holy DAYS, in Hebrew: rehearsal Days, 7 specific Days... that belong to the LORD; Days HE put on HIS Calendar, Days HE plans to keep; so those 7 DAYS must be important, right?

Paul to the Colossians wrote: these Days are... shadows of things to come, their substance is CHRIST / the MESSIAH. In other words, those 7 DAYS have NO meaning apart from something CHRIST / the MESSIAH King does... sent from GOD.

In the OLD TESTAMENT times... the people of GOD, every year... were to keep 3 Festivals / 3 Party times... in Jerusalem:
1. the Festival of Unleavened Bread;
2. the Festival of Pentecost... and then there is summer... the season of work and growth; followed by;
3. the Festival of Ingathering the Harvest.

In the NEW TESTAMENT times... if this is not the year that the 5th DAY of the LORD is fulfilled, then many of us will have another year to do what we always do: faithfully continue to work... and do what our LORD asked His followers to do... particularly the night HE was betrayed -- what the church in Philidelphia will be doing as the last 3 days approach.

We do NOT need to pretend we are Jewish and keep those 3 Festivals; we do NOT need to create our own hocus pocus about those Festivals; we do NOT even need to buy cake and ice cream; NO need to purchase tons of presents for anyone, relatives or friends.

But we can do something... starting with:

DO NOT CONFUSE... the 3 ANNUAL Festivals... designated for the people of GOD... DO NOT CONFUSE those 3 Party times with...

the 7 DAYS of the LORD; NOT Party times for HIM. HE came to work; HE came to do some heavy lifting: the 7 WorkDAYS belong to Him... marked on HIS Calendar.

For us in the 21st genius generation... it probably would be wise to pause and thoughtfully rehearse in our minds the significance of these 7 Days considering and acknowledging each DAY belongs to the LORD - that more than 3,500 years ago... Moses and the Prophets told us about... those 7 DAYS which are ALL important to Him, are all very specific WorkDAYS.

When the LORD came the first time in great humility... HE fulfilled the first 4 DAYS - exactly on those DAYS (not a minute too soon; not a minute too late) Now, after the the time of summer growth; and all the sweat and toil, we see:
3 DAYS of the LORD ... still on HIS Calendar.

Moses, like a loving grandfather... meticulously wrote; as if he was so concerned they would forget:

Exodus 12; 23
In focus: Passover... and preparing a Lamb; God's grace to lead out of slavery; the 3 annual Festivals are introduced; and Moses said: Children of GOD don't forget!

Leviticus
In focus: Atonement... afflicting of souls... 49 times this word is mentioned in that detailed book; written for the faithful teachers to instruct the people: the 3 annual Festivals are mentioned in great detail; and Moses said: Children of GOD don't forget!

Numbers 28
In focus: reteaching in detail the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual offerings... after the rebellion of Korah: after the faithless sons and grandsons of Levi - prideful musicians who caused rebellion against Moses... after they were destroyed; Moses graciously instructed new, faithful teachers... who feared the LORD, teachers who teach... the ways of God... to the people of God who will hear and respond: the 3 annual Festivals are mentioned; and the aged Moses said: Children of GOD don't forget!

Deuteronomy
In focus: Moses, the great law giver...

(you know, to Love GOD above all others... is NOT a bad thing; to love our neighbor as ourself... is NOT a bad thing; can you image driving down the freeway of life... without any rules to follow?)

Moses, the great law giver... who was 80 years old when the Exodus began... now 40 years later, this loving leader... One last time gathered the people reminding them at least 42 times to observe... and 91 times to do... ALL the LORD told them... something Adam did not do; something 12 times the 12 disciples were reminded to do... the night Jesus was betrayed;

Moses said: When you enter the land... and retold ALL that the people of God were to remember: TO OBSERVE... and TO DO:

7 DAYS, specific DAYS, work DAYS... belonged to the LORD;
3 ANNUAL Festivals / party times... belong to them;

And we might wonder: Why all this boring repetition?

See through the eyes of old Moses... who lovingly, kindly... and for certain, very carefully spoke to the people, God's people -- as every one of them passed in front of him,

Moses who years earlier... in his great anger... rebelled against the LORD by striking The ROCK... and not merely speaking to The ROCK... ruining the type and shadow God had prepared: The ROCK... was struck once; Moses struck the ROCK a second time (Paul wrote: in some way... that ROCK was CHRIST... emblematic of the something MESSIAH, the ROCK of Ages... would do. Daniel tells us, the ROCK of Ages will come):

and the very old Moses... as he just stood there... kindly said Observe and do ALL the LORD told us:

Children ruled by GOD don't forget!

The great apostle Paul who penned 2/3rd of the New Testament, wrote....
Colossians 2 vs 16-17
Let no one judge you regarding what you eat and what you drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day... things which are a shadow of what is to come... but the substance belongs to CHRIST -- without CHRIST JESUS these types and shadows have NO significance.

Which also means, those 7 DAYS of the LORD have significance... they have meaning... fulfilled in something only CHRIST can do. So pause... and acknowledge those DAYS on HIS Calendar... until the LAST is fulfilled... simply pause... and reconsider each DAY; through the year, anticipate each DAY with JOY...
after all, those 7 DAYS still belong to HIM!

THE 7 Great WorkDAYS of the LORD:

DAY OF PASSOVER - Done! Finished in Christ / the MESSIAH... the night He was betrayed; the Day He died for the world... when HE came in humility; according to the Scriptures.

DAY OF UNLEAVENED BREAD - Done! The evening when the Bread of Life who had descended from heaven in great humility, He was buried in a tomb; according to the Scriptures.

DAY OF FIRST FRUITS - Done! Finished, when 3 Days and 3 Nights later, on the First of the Week following Passover, He was raised from the dead; according to the Scriptures.

DAY OF PENTECOST - Done! Counting 50 Days after He rose from the dead; 10 days after His ascencion... He sent us His Spirit... to lead us into all truth; according to the Scriptures.

Next on His Calendar... after the summer growth... at the time of gathering the harvest...3 workdays for the Lord Our Messiah; 3 days equal to Passover, Unleavened Bread, FirstFruits and Pentecost.

DAY OF TRUMPETS - a great Day of rejoicing when Christ comes for the Love of His Life: His Church!

DAY OF AFFLICTING OF SOULS - when the last roman government hard as iron, still smashing and destroying until the whole world is broken; when it get's knocked off its global pedestal by none other than the Rock of Ages on that terrifying Day of the Wrath of God... when Gentle JESUS, our MESSIAH returns this time in power and great glory... ready to pound all the butts of hardheads of the nations with His rod of iron! By the time He finishes, there won't be enough toilet paper for them to wipe their jackasses.

DAY OF TABERNACLES - a Day of Thanksgiving... the terrible Day is over. Joy to the world!

Final comment: These are great days we're living in; not fearful day. Days that make you want to look up! Because He is near, even at the doors...

In the meantime, No need to argue with anyone. Peter told us: In the last days, scoffers will come; Jesus told us: deceivers will come saying they represent Him! Well, they've all arrived!

If you don't know what to do, Just start with the Good news... first delivered to the saints; and hold on for dear life... it is still the power of God that saves. Love God our Father; then love those who cross our path. And keep on walking... justified in the finish work of JESUS Christ...

HE still has 3 big events HE intends to work through.

JESUS CHRIST, The WORD made flesh: This is what we believe and affirm.
